RSG Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, payroll, tax compliancy, and supporting financial reporting for Rancho San Gregorio and its resident startups.

Details

  • Remote position (must be familiar with CA tax laws)

  • 5-10 hours per week

  • $25+ per hour (largely DOE)

  • Flexible schedule

  • W2 or part-time contractor considered

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Prepare and send invoices

  • Manage bill payments and bank wires

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports

  • Support tax preparation by organizing financial documents

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

  • Run bi-weekly payroll

  • Process contractor payments and manage 1099's

Preferred Experience

  • Proven bookkeeping experience (2+ years preferred)

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software 

  • Experience with payroll processing and compliancy
